The Cultural Sector of the Consulate General of Brazil in Chicago is responsible for promoting the Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language.

The Consulate General has the mission to encourage artistic manifestations which invite the Brazilian community abroad to come closer to its cultural background and show the local inhabitants true elements of the Brazilian identity.
